Susan Kim Boyle

Susan co-founded BAS Ventures, Inc. with Barbara Lambroza after producing many investment management conferences together at Information Management Network (IMN).  As a lead producer at IMN, she had the opportunity to work on a full spectrum of conferences domestically and internationally on investment-specific topics to addressing the needs of specific members of the investment management community.  These conferences include The Corporate Pension Fund Summit, Super Bowl of Indexing, Canada Cup of Investment Management and Alternative Investment Summit of Asia to name a few. 

Prior to entering the conference industry, she was a business manager at Merrill Lynch and a finance analyst for CIGNA’s Risk Management Division, both in New York.  Susan holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals.

 

Barbara Lambroza

Barbara has been producing institutional investment management conferences for over 20 years. She started BAS Ventures, Inc. with her Partner, Susan Kim Boyle in 2006 in an effort to create intimate forums that offer educational content while fostering relevant and dynamic discussion amongst fiduciaries and other members of the investment community.

Barbara started her conference career in 1989 at the Institute for International Research (IIR). As President of the Special Events Division, she created such groundbreaking programs as the Public Funds Forum and the Asset Allocation Summit.  In 1998 Barbara joined Information Management Network (IMN) as a senior director. She produced and directed over 50 programs for IMN, including the nationally recognized Public Funds Summit and the Consultants’ Circle.  She assisted in the development of Money Management Letter’s Awards ceremony and was integral in creating the Louisiana Trustee Education Council (LATEC) events.

Before entering the conference arena, Barbara worked as an account executive and registered representative for Jennison Associates, Dean Witter Reynolds and Dreyfus Funds.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
